Dr. Anisha Munshi

Superintendent

Gilroy Unified School District

Hello Gilroy community!

The holiday season is officially upon us! Although December is a short month for instructional time for students, our staff is working hard to finish the 2024 calendar year by providing robust educational opportunities for all learners.

As the end of the year draws near, I hope that you and your family will take much needed time to relax and recharge, and foster connections within your own community or neighborhood. I hope your break is filled with fun and adventures to create long-lasting memories for your children. Regardless of how you celebrate the holiday season and end of the year, the common thread that we all share is that this time is about family and community connections.

I am grateful to all of our District staff who do so much to support our students, and encourage you to express your gratitude to a staff member for the impact they're making in big and small ways.

I am looking forward to spending time with my family, friends and neighbors during this time of rest, and I'm hoping to make some progress on my list of books I want to read.

My best,

Anisha Munshi, Ed.D.

Superintendent

Gilroy Unified School District
