GVA North Families,

This past weekend, our Middle School Chinese Dance Enrichment class had the amazing opportunity to perform at the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration at Centennial Center Park. The festival, hosted by the Chinese American Association, featured authentic food, games, and cultural performances and our students did an incredible job representing GVA North! We are so proud of their hard work and talent.

Student-Led Conferences

It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching conference time! At GVA, conferences are student-led, giving children the chance to showcase their progress and learning with their families. Students should attend their conferences with their parents/guardians.

You should receive an email from your child’s teachers today with links to sign up for fall conferences. You can also access teachers’ sign up links here. Slots fill quickly, so please sign up soon!

Conference Dates & Times:

  • Tuesday, October 14th from 3:00–8:00 PM
  • Wednesday, October 15th from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM

Format of Conferences:

  • Kindergarten–5th Grade: Families will attend two conferences, one with the English teacher and one with the Immersion teacher.
  • Middle School: Conferences will be open-house style. However, families should sign up for a two-hour window to meet with their child’s teachers. This will help spread out conferences and reduce wait times.
