GVBL Rec League

We hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and is ready to get back to some basketball!

This week is the start of the real competition because all division games, except boys and girls 1/2, will now count towards our league standings.

Make sure to give it your all because everything counts from now on!

We are excited to see some new match ups this week starting tonight with our Girls 7/8 division; Lynx vs. Stars @ 6:30 followed by Sparks vs. Mercury @ 7:30. Good luck to everyone this week!

Team Parents

Now that our teams are formed, we are looking for volunteers to be a "Team Mom/Dad". This person helps the coach with team communications: schedule changes, updates, a player unable to attend, team events or other news. Given the time our coaches put in for games, practices and refereeing, the Team Mom/Dad is very helpful and appreciated.

Anyone interested in volunteering should email [email protected] and include the team name. Thank you!

GVBL Boys HS Rec League

All registrants for GVBL HS Boys are invited to an open gym session on Monday, Dec. 4th at Great Valley Middle School. Session times are being finalized and will be communicated.

Attending Open Gym is not required. It gives the players a chance to shoot around and gives the League Coordinator an idea of the overall skillset.

Our goal is to have our first GVBL HS games on Friday, Dec. 8th.

Please keep an eye on the website and especially the GVBL app for rosters and schedules.

Jr. Hoopsters

Our Jr Hoopsters program is completely full and we can't wait to get started!

They will begin their season the first week of January. Keep an eye on the website and these Monday Around the Rim communications for further info as we move toward the new year.

Send Pictures!

Submit your pictures to [email protected] for your chance to be featured in the Newsletter, on the website, or on social media!

THANK YOU TO OUR LOCAL CORPORATE & BUSINESS SPONSORS OF OUR 2022-2023 GVBL WINTER LEAGUE

Once again, we have had tremendous local support for what we are trying to accomplish with our GVBL winter rec league. Without this assistance, there would be a financial shortfall for equipment, administration and facilities rental. GVBL would like to thank all those who have stepped up to support GVBL. In addition, as always please try and support these local businesses throughout the year, shopping and doing business right here at home.

Needed are laundry detergent, Clorox wipes, liquid bleach, paper towels, trash bags, body wash and hand soaps.

Bring your donations to the GVCO Community Center Complex during the daytime or during games. Bins will be located by the main doors.

Financing Our Project

Financing the New GVCO Community Center

It's time for everyone in our Great Valley community to GIVE BACK. The community's support over the past six years has been tremendous [Donor List (11/26/23) ]. Let's finish what we started, paying off the debt and moving forward with the next phase of the project. To do this, the support must continue and be more broad based.

We are asking for help from the entire Great Valley private, public and business community.

Ways You can Give

For further details on the project, how you can make a significant financial impact or information with regard to Naming Rights for the complex and areas throughout the project, please reach out to Keith Walsh at [email protected]
