Spotlight Teams of the Week

Girls 3/4 Aces: 'It's finally syncing in that defense win games as the Aces tallied 20 steals en route to a hard fought 30-17 victory over the Sky team this past Saturday!' Coach John Trochimowicz

Girls 5/6 Miracles: 'A fter losing their first 6 games in a row, we beat the Fever this past weekend (31-26). In a postgame interview, Coach (Jamie) Cook said "winning feels gooder than losing - and yes, I said gooder! The players have been practicing & playing well all season. We made a few more layups and grabbed a few more rebounds today." The Miracle will look to make it two wins in a row next weekend against the (currently) undefeated Sparks.' Coaches Cook and Melconian

Boys 5/6 Ducks: 'A fte r beginning the season 2-0, the Ducks have lost a few games in a row. After a closed-door, players only meeting, the Ducks came out and played very well against the undefeated Spartans. Although they ended up losing the contest, the Ducks managed to keep the Spartans offense to its third-lowest point total this season. The Ducks will look to get back to their winning ways next weekend against the Tigers.' Coach Alex Melconian

The team is focusing on defense and using their transition game to score points. They will be entering their first tournament next month (Spring Ford Tournament).
5th Grade Boys - RAIDERS ~ KNIGHTS ~ DRAGONS
The Knights had a fun weekend of ICBA games going 1-1. The Raiders have been continually improving and demonstrated that with their first ICBA win of the season on Sunday night. The Dragons have been experimenting with various versions of their lineup and were able to pull out a nice win in the Malvern League.
5th Grade Girls - STORM
The Storm had a successful weekend, going 2-0 in ICBA play and losing a tough Malvern League game to Springfield. In ICBA action, they cruised by Audubon on Saturday by a score of 42-13. Ava Hall paced the offense with 14 points, while Madelyn Shaughnessy and Lily Lexer chipped in 8 each. On Sunday, the team took on Phoenixville and won an exciting game 17-15 to move to 3-0 in ICBA action. In the Malvern League game, they fell to Springfield 20-19, but they lost to the same team last year 28-7. In the game on Sunday, Kate Weikert went 7 for 9 from the charity stripe, leading the team with 9 points. Sophia Kauler was a force on the boards and pulled down a lot of rebounds. In the coming week, they will scrimmage a Norchester team on Wednesday and have an ICBA and Malvern League game on Sund ay.

6th Grade Boys - 2026ers
The 2026ers Blue Team continued their season with an ICBA game this past weekend. It was so much fun to watch the boys hustle, box out, rebound and score. This week, they will continue to develop aggressive offense/defense skills. Great job and keep up the hard work boys!

6th Grade Girls - LIGHTNING
The Lightning had another good weekend, winning both their games convincingly. They won their ICBA game 31-18 against a good team, and then 28-15 against a scrappy Malvern League opponent. Next week, we have 2 ICBA and 1 Malvern League games. Let’s keep the streak going!
7th Grade Boys - PATRIOTS 2025
Malvern Blue Team got a Win over the Radnor rockets 37 to 35 with a buzzer beater from AJ Diamond.

ICBA Team Won 50 - 40 over Whitpain at home. Noah Metrick led scoring for the Pats, with 18 points, Andrew Pellicciotta dropped in an additional 13 points to take the win. ICBA team moves to 4 and 1 overall and is in 2nd place in their division.

7th Grade Girls - TITANS
T he Titans went 2-1 for the weekend. In ICBA action, they beat a strong Deep Run team 26-25 and then lost to Somerton 35-30. The team continued their excellent Malvern league play with a 30-21 win over the Sparks.
8th Grade Boys - THE BLITZ
The Blitz had a busy weekend with a home and home series against a tough Upper Perkiomen team. On Saturday, the Blitz played a hard fought, physical game and had chances to make a run in the 4th quarter that fell short, with the team losing by 9. At home on Sunday, the Blitz struggled on the defensive end and Upper Perk cruised to an easier victory, which dropped our record to 1-3. Next up is a rematch with Penn Valley on Tuesday evening, before another two game weekend. If the Blitz can put together a good push, they will be able to climb quickly back up in the standings.
