Spotlight Teams of the Week
Boys 1/2 Hornets:
'
The Hornets played a tough Wizards team this weekend, we battled tough and never gave up, but were not able to come out on top. The Hornets continue to work on sharing the ball, rebounding, playing defense and working together as a team. We are looking forward to our next couple of games.'- Coach Jake Venable
Girls 1/2 Dragons:
'
The Dragons of the Girls 1/2 Division have had a tremendous year so far, becoming good friends and having a ton of fun along the way! This weekend all of the girls played great in an exciting game against the Golden Rams. Way to go Dragons!!' - Coach Jack Dugan
Boys 5/6 Jayhawks:
'
The Jayhawks have had a year full of exciting and close games and Sunday was another one. After a slow start, we were able to get the offense going and held off repeated comeback attempts by the Razorbacks to pick up the victory and improve to 4-5. The Jayhawks are excited for the upcoming playoffs.'- Coach Mike Woodard
Girls 5/6 Monarchs:
'T
his team is so much fun to coach! The girls have a great attitude and are having a great time. Our team is really starting to gel, as we've won 4 of our last 5. The girls are playing great team basketball, they're sharing the ball on offense and working together on defense. Their rebounding paid off this weekend as we got multiple shot attempts in the final seconds until leading up to the game winning shot as time expired!' - Coach Will Walsh

|
5th Grade Boys - RAIDERS ~ KNIGHTS ~ DRAGONS
The teams had a very competitive weekend, ending up 1-2. The Knights won their ICBA home game, the Raiders lost a good game to Norchester, and the Dragons played hard in a close loss in the Malvern League. Ryan Wilsher, Chase Wiggers and Andrew Moss were stand out players for the Dragons this week.
|
|
5th Grade Girls - STORM
The Storm had a successful weekend going 3-0 in ICBA and Malvern League games. In ICBA play, the Storm defeated Whitpain by a score of 29-7. Whitman came into the game with a 6-1 record, but the relentless defense and pressure of the Storm held them in check. In the other ICBA game, the Storm defeated a tough Hatboro-Horsham team by a score of 21-14. In Malvern League, the Storm took down St. Agnes by a score of 19-11. The team has a full schedule this coming week, squaring off against Towamencin on Thursday evening in ICBA action. Towamencin is currently 7-0, the only other undefeated team in the division. On Saturday, the Storm play Paoli, a team with a 6-1 record. The team will also have a third ICBA game, as well as a Malvern League contest.

6th Grade Boys - 2026ers
The 2026ers White Team played very well on Sunday. They worked together as a team and pulled out a win.
The 2026ers Blue Team overcame a slow start in Saturday's game against Springford. With really good defense and precision offense in the 2nd half, they slowly caught up and took the lease to a 7 point VICTORY! This week in practice they will focus on minimizing turnovers and having fun.

|
6th Grade Girls - LIGHTNING
It was a mixed weekend for the Lightning. We started the weekend strong on Friday night, winning our first ICBA game of the weekend. But Sunday was a different story. We were neck and neck with one of the stronger ICBA opponents, but lost steam in the last quarter of the game. Later that evening, we did not recover and also lost our Malvern league game by one basket. The girls are not discouraged, however. We've shown we can be competitive with both of the top 2 ICBA teams and led both teams in the second half. This week at practice, while wearing our new practice pinnies, we'll be working on putting together 4 consecutive strong quarters.

7th Grade Boys - PATRIOTS 2025
The 7th Grade White Team lost in an overtime buzzer beater. The boys have greatly improved their defensive effort. Caleb Biddle and Jack Renehan led the team with 8 points each.
The 7th Grade Blue Team also lost in an overtime buzzer beater. Last minute turnovers plagued the team but the game was worth the ride as it was a back and forth battle til the end.
The 7th Grade ICBA Team won both of their games this weekend with their defensive intensity getting tougher each game. On Saturday they played the #1 team and held them to 7 first half points. Defense has proven to be their best offense. They move to first place in their division for ICBA play.

|
7th Grade Girls - TITANS
The Titans split their ICBA games this weekend beating Somerton 29-25 and losing a tough game to Torresdale. In Malvern play, the girls lost a close game to the Unionville Indians 23-18.
