GVBL Tournament Teams
5th Grade Boys - RAIDERS ~ KNIGHTS ~ DRAGONS
The 5th Grade Boys went a combined 1-2 this weekend in league play with the Dragons getting a nice 38-28 win against Aston, behind a great game by Ryan Wilsher and a big 3 pointer by Upanshu Vinayaka. The Knights are working hard to maintain their top 3 placement for the ICBA playoffs, with a few games left. The Raiders had strong performances by Andrew Culbertson, Sonny Baldino and Jack Tengwall, but ultimately lost to Chestnut Hil..
5th Grade Girls - STORM
The Storm had a busy week. The team went on the road on Thursday and faced off against Towamencin in a battle of the two unbeaten teams in ICBA for their division. In a back and forth contest, the Storm fell by a score of 22-20. The team will use it as a learning experience and already showed resiliency in their next ICBA games. They faced off against Paoli on Saturday, a team that was 7-1 coming into the game. The Storm used a stifling defense and excellent ball movement on offense to come out victorious by a score of 39-16. On Sunday, the Storm took down MLGBA by a score of 44-11. That improves the team's record in ICBA to 8-1. In Malvern action, the team faced off against a tenacious zone of the Lady Jags, falling by a score of 18-9. Next week brings the team into another Malvern League game, as well as an ICBA contest.

6th Grade Boys - 2026ers
The 2026ers White Team played the Exton Wildcats on Sunday and were able to pull out the win.

6th Grade Girls - LIGHTNING
The 6th and 7th grade girls teams had a great time holding a joint practice with the GV High School girls team. It was a great opportunity for them to learn from the veteran players. Thanks, Coach Venarchik and all the girls for your support of the GVBL tournament teams.
Another mixed weekend for the Lightning. A disappointing loss Saturday to Phoenixville, then two great wins on Sunday against Swoops and Torresdale. We have one more game tonight at Audobon, where we hope to end the weekend 3-1. The coaches are pleased to see the girls making passes they couldn't make the beginning of the season, leading to lots of fast breaks and open layups. On a sad note, our teammate Elsa has decided to take a break from the team. We'll miss you, Krackle!
7th Grade Boys - PATRIOTS 2025
The White Travel Team came up with a BIG win 40 to 23 over Octorara. The boys are staring to minimize turnovers and their full court press seems to be in high gear based upon their performance.
The Blue Travel Team struggled against the Springton Lakers. The team struggled with turnovers and teamwork which will be a major focus in the coming weeks.
The ICBA Travel Team barely pulled out a Victory against Springford 45 to 44. They currently share the Top spot in their division with an 8 and 1 record. The boys continue to improve their communication and teamwork which has served them well all season long defensively.

7th Grade Girls - TITANS
The Titans split their ICBA games this weekend, beating Springford 41-35 and losing to Torresdale 31-21. At 3-5 overall, the girls are right in that meaty part of the curve. Not showing off, not falling behind. The Malvern league schedule was empty and will pick up again next weekend.
