James McKay Memorial Tournament
In memory of James McKay, we are proud to announce that we are renaming and dedicating our Chester County Challenge to the James McKay Memorial Tournament. Games will be played on March 16th & 17th.

Exposure Basketball Events app
GVBL is going "digital" and has signed up with Exposure Basketball Events! Simply download the Exposure Basketball Events app for either Android or Apple and type GVBL in the search field. You will find all divisions, schedules, rosters and standings for quick and easy reference. You can "follow" your teams and receive reminders via SMS or email. As this is the first season we are using it, we welcome your feedback. You will continue to find all information on the GVCO website as well.
Junior Hoopsters
Session II began last week for both NEW & RETURNING participants!

A Friday morning group has now been added from 10 AM – 11:15 AM & will officially begin on Friday, February 8th for 6 weeks. Registration is open!

The last day for the Thursday Session will now be Thursday, March 14th to make up for the cancellation on 1/31/19.

GVBL Tournament Teams
4th Grade Boys
The 4th Grade Boys won both of their games this weekend bringing their season record to 9-5.
4th Grade Girls
The Storm and the Hurricanes both came out victorious today. The Hurricanes defeated the Media Ballers with a score of 26-12 and the Storm defeated Lower Merion 21-15.
6th Grade Boys
The Patriots had a tough loss Sunday morning and a big victory on Sunday afternoon.
The team continues to run their offense efficiently and play good defense.

6th Grade Girls
The Titans went 3-0 this weekend in ICBA play beating Audubon, Lenape Valley, & Upper Moreland.

7th Grade Boys
The Blitz lost twice in ICBA play over the weekend against a hot shooting Owen J Roberts team. The boys play again tonight at 8:00 pm against Phoenixville at Phoenixville Middle School.

8th Grade Boys
The Wildcats fell to the TE Sixers in a battle 53-54. It was a true team effort down to the last second.
Next up the Wildcats will face the tough Delco Venom on Sunday night.
8th Grade Girls
Crush played 5 games in the last 4 days. There were lows and highs including a win against the Lady Lions and a win against the ICBA league leaders - the Audubon Screaming Eagles. Crush is back in action on Sunday: 12 pm vs Heroes at Westtown School and 2:15 pm vs Deep Run at GVMS.

GVMS Boys
The 8th grade & 7th grade boys teams both defeated Penns Grove last Monday, but had their other 2 games cancelled because of the weather. The boys are anxious to get back to game play. There are three games this week. The 8th grade team plays at 3:15 pm and the 7th grade game follows:

The GVHS Girls will celebrate their 5 graduating seniors on Tuesday night against Academy Park!

The GVHS Boys won a huge game against Rustin last Thursday at Boys GVBL Night in front of a packed house! The GVBL Player Section rocked! Unfortunately, their 5 game winning streak came to an end against Downingtown on Saturday.
