Spring is here and GVCO needs Caring Hands volunteers on Sunday, March 30th from 12pm-2pm to help with mulching, edging, and weeding outside of the GVCO Community Center. Parent volunteers are also welcomed to help!

Sow Good Now

Gear Up for March Madness!

Donate sweatshirts!


Sow Good Now is collecting new or like new sweatshirts for youth and young adults. Donate sweatshirts from your favorite school, college or team!


Sow Good Now aims to build community by bringing student athletes together with youth from underserved areas. They inspire athletic communities to seek out ways to meaningfully serve the underserved and increase their impact.

Drop off donations at 51 North Bacton Hill Rd.

The drive ends March 31st!

SPCA Walk 4 Paws

This year, the SPCA Walk 4 Paws will be on April 26th at the West Goshen Community Park from 10am-1pm!


GVCO is a vendor at the annual Walk 4 Paws! We will need volunteers to bake homemade items and drop them off at GVCO Friday, April 25th (worth 2 hours of volunteer time) and the other volunteers will sell the items at a table the day of. All proceeds will go back to the dogs at the SPCA!

SPCA Kong Making


On March 23rd, Caring Hands volunteers made kongs filled with peanut butter and dog food for dogs at the SPCA!

In Ian's Boots Shoe Drive


This March GVCO collected gently used shoes, winter boots, and cleats. The shoes are going to In Ian’s Boots, an organization dedicated to donating footwear to those in need!

Homeless Care Packages



Recently, Caring Hands volunteers assembled homeless care packages!


The local non-profit Better Days Ahead will be distributing the care packages for those who need them in Phoenixville, Pottstown and Norristown. 


Family Fun Day!


On Saturday, February 22nd, GVCO hosted a family fun day for the Great Valley Community. There were raffle baskets, auction baskets, games, activities, and food!

Blood Drive

The French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust will be hosting its 23rd Annual French Creek Iron Tour Cycling for Open Space rally on June 8th.


Many volunteers are needed on different days.
