FALL CHEER
We are so excited to welcome back the cheerleaders for our fall season. We joined the GVFL players at Great Valley Middle School to get started.

|
|
Here is our 6th grade captain Aubrynne, who has cheered for more years than any other cheerleader in the program. She’s joined by Coach Violet and Coach Maddie. They got right into teaching cheers, jumps and the warm up dance that Coach Abby and Coach Caroline taught back in 2019.

|
Flag cheer (K-1st) will practice on Thursday nights from 6-7pm and GV cheer will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-7:30pm. For more information, please contact cheer@gvco.org.

Fall Programs
Cheer for Grades K-1
Flag football cheerleading will be for athletes in K and 1st grade to get introduced to the GVCO cheerleading program GVCO. Athletes will learn cheers, dance and jumps and cheer during the flag football games and perform at half time. They will also do other voluntary community events to perform to the community, and specifics will be communicated as they are scheduled.
Each week, there will be a one hour practice at a location within the Great Valley School District. These practices are closed to parents, but the coaches will upload videos to the Facebooks and Instagram pages. The season starts in early August and goes until the last flag football game of the season. Games are typically held on Sunday mornings.
Practices begin in early August.

The athletes will spend time on the fundamentals of stunting, learn a competition routine, condition, work on tumbling and learn cheers for football and basketball. They will also do other voluntary community events to perform to the community, and specifics will be communicated as they are scheduled. Practices begin in early August.

Despite the occassional heat and rain, it was great getting the kids runnin' outdoors and seeing all the parents, friends and neighbors enjoying the games from lawn chairs in the grass. 469 kids participated - what a great community feel!
Congrats to this year's summer league champions...but bigger congrats to all those who participated, players, coaches, referees and spectators. For the most part there was lots of smiles, some very good basketball and great sportsmanship - just the way the GVBL mission and vison is drawn up!

Haly Oil, now Haly Home Comfort, started in 1985 with one truck and one customer. Delivering home heating oil was the initial focus, but it wasn’t long before a service department was added.
Today, as the 35th anniversary approaches, the mission-driven Haly Companies strive to provide home comfort and energy services around the clock in the most customer-friendly way possible. And, Walter “Bud” Haly, owner and co-founder, continues to put customers and the community first, just as he did when he began delivering oil in 1985.
Bud and the entire Haly family have given GVCO an incredible amount of time, energy, resources and service throughout its 20+ years in existence. “We’re a family-owned business,” Bud says. “We live where you live, we raise our kids here, and we strive to have a positive impact on the environment. Our community is your community, and your friends are our friends.” And this epitomizes GVCO’s mission and goals. GVCO is proud to partner with our local friend and business owner.
