Cheer News

Fun things happening with the cheer program!

Season begins!

Our cheer program started at the end of August with practices outside of the GV Middle School. Then moved indoors to Grand Slam. We love our cheer practices! With over 60 cheerleaders, it gives everyone a chance to be together in once place. Whether it be performing for each other, learning our routine, practicing cheers and dances or just playing games, the cheerleaders are making great memories, strengthening their skills and forming friendships.

GVFL Games

We love cheering for our GVFL teams. The teams have been doing great! The first home game was to celebrate Grandparents Day and the second home game was pink out day.

GVHS Mini Night

Our cheerleaders once again joined the high school team for their annual Be a Mini Cheerleader night. They loved spending time on the sidelines with their mentor cheerleader and also had a great time at the clinic before the game.

Flag Cheerleaders

Our flag cheer team has been learning so much in their first season of cheerleading! They had a blast at mini night and love cheering for flag football games, even if some are a little rainy.

Winter Basketball

GVBL Winter League is open to all GVSD resident students in grades K-12.

Project Update

The front entrance/walkway to our new GVCO Community Center got dressed up this week! We had our first ever GVCO Caring Hands community service workday. Pictured are some volunteers preparing the flower beds along the walk where shrubs, sod and flowers were planted. Thank you to all those from the community who helped make this happen.

Financing the new

GVCO Community Center

It's time for everyone in our Great Valley community to GIVE BACK. The community's support over the past six years has been tremendous [Donor List 8/31].

Let's finish what we started, paying off the debt and moving forward with the next phase of the project. To do this, the support must continue and be more broad based.

We are asking for help from the entire Great Valley private, public and business community.

Ways You Can Give

For further details on the project, how you can make a significant financial impact or information with regard to Naming Rights for the complex and areas throughout the project, please reach out to Keith Walsh at execdirector@gvco.org
