GVCO CHOOSES LOCAL COMMUNITY BANK & LONG TIME PARTNER FOR NEW GVCO COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT
GVCO recently announced it has chosen Meridian Bank to handle its financing needs with our new GVCO Community Center project. An appraisal of the property has been ordered and our GVCO Board, along with MacElree Harvey, Ltd are finalizing the terms of the loan. IMC Construction, GVCO’s general contractor, is finalizing the construction budget and timeline for Meridian.
Our GVCO Board felt it was important to choose a local banking partner who also has a vested interest in our Great Valley community. Meridian was a logical choice beyond the outlined initial terms. Chris Annas, the bank's founder has long-lasting ties to our community and GVCO…having lived here and his kids participating in GVCO programming. Meridian was also the bank chosen back in 2005 when GVBL needed a Letter of Credit in order to open the old GVBL Center on Bacton Hill Rd.
GVCO looks forward to continuing to work with our long time banking partner Meridian Bank, to bring this wonderful community asset, the new GVCO Community Center to fruition for entire community to enjoy.

Congratulations
Mac Sullivan!
Caring Hands Scholarship Recipient
GVCO would like to thank and congratulate Mac Sullivan for her years of dedicated community service through our Caring Hands foundation.
GVCO established an annual scholarship award to be granted to a high school senior who most exemplifies the values of the GVCO Caring Hands through volunteerism, leadership, and community service.
GVCO Caring Hands was established to empower local middle and high school students to support their community by raising funds for those individuals, families, or organizations in our community experiencing hardship, tragedies or catastrophic events. In addition as a Caring Hands a student-run community outreach program, students are organized by the group's student leaders to volunteer for numerous events throughout the year.
Visit GVCO Caring Hands for additional info about what we have done, who we are helping and how you can get involved.

This school year brought with it many challenges. Students should be looking to finish this school year as strong as possible while any academic deficiencies need to be addressed to ensure future success.
This summer presents an opportunity for students of all ages to catch up on any school subjects they have fallen behind on, especially in cumulative courses like math, where each prior year builds on the last. Whether your student needs to catch up on course content, or get a head start on preparing for the SAT/ACT, contact us to set up a call to discuss their academic situation and what Ivy Experience can do to support them.

Summer and Fall Cheer Programs
Conditioning:
Spring conditioning clinics are for athletes who are interested in training and enhancing their strength in anticipation of the fall sports season. These clinics are not inclusive of only cheerleaders, but for all boys and girls who want to work out with other athletes. The clinics will be twice a week in June and July 2021 at a location in the Great Valley School District.
Cheer for Grades K-1
Flag football cheerleading is for athletes in K and 1st grade to get introduced to the GVCO cheerleading program. Athletes will learn cheers, dance and jumps and cheer during the flag football games and perform at half time. They will also do other voluntary community events to perform to the community.
Starting early August, there will be a one hour practice at a location within the Great Valley School District. Games are typically held on Sunday mornings.

Our GVBL 2021 Summer League will begin June 14th and run until August 12th. Games will be played on Monday through Thursday evenings. GVBL will be taking a maximum of 80 registrants per division.
Register for Girls and Boys in Grades 1-8 for the Fall
Register for the Boys High School division - must be a GVSD resident

Richard E. Schoeninger
I am a lifelong resident of Chester County and would not live anywhere else. My two children, Allison and Drew, went through the Great Valley School system from 1 - 12th grade. My wife, Danielle, was the Director of Special Education for the school district and now is the Co Director of Human Resources at the CCIU. My son played in the GVCO basketball league and I coached his team. It was a great experience for him and me as well.
I was an avid tennis player, but in recent years have gravitated to Pickleball as my sport of choice. I became involved with GVCO through Pickleball. I enjoyed helping new players learn how to play the game and watching new players become avid participants. When we started out, we had about 25 players. Since then, we have over had 200 players who have come to the old GVCO gym to pick up the game. It was great to see the success of a new program and to join a group of people who managed the growth and administration of the sport in our facility.
I also wanted to contribute monetarily to help build a new facility for not just Pickleball, but all the activities the GVCO offers. The community desperately needs this organization to help our community. GVCO is coming close to opening this facility, but still needs contributions.
