"I am a huge believer in giving back and helping out in the community and the world. Think globally, act locally I suppose. I believe that the measure of a person's life is the affect they have on others." ~ Steve Nash

Caring Hands News
GVCO once again connected with the local community highlighting how kind and generous our Great Valley continues to be.
Our Caring Hands group reached out to the ownership of long time Malvern garden center Uhlers, 160 Lancaster Ave., Malvern, about helping out and they were more than happy to donate 9 flats of pansies!
|
For the past two weekends, 50+ GVCO Caring Hands student volunteers spent a numerous hours painting pots, making encouragement cards and planting 150 pots of flowers for the current residents at Green Meadows in Paoli.
It was a tremendously generous effort put forth by caring student volunteers, a considerate local business and the Great Valley Community Organization...bringing some joy and happiness of springtime to some of those that might need it the most!
Well done GV once again!!

This scholarship is designed to help others who may need assistance, giving them the opportunity to participate in GVCO programming.

• How to have a conversation about those who struggle with substance use.
