GVCO and its Caring Hands Foundation are "Good Neighbors" over the Holidays
This past holiday season the GVCO Caring Hands Foundation leadership and volunteers were hard at work once again. Throughout the ye
ar a group of Great Valley high school and middle school students volunteer and raise funds to help support people, families and organizations within the community.
During the holidays the GVCO Caring Hands group worked with the Great Valley Senior Center, the Phoenixville Senior Center and the West Chester Senior Center to support some of the areas seniors. Over 35 turkeys, along with $150 in gift cards were delivered to the 3 senior centers during the Thanksgiving holiday through its
Good Neighbors C
ampaign
.
Also late last year the Caring Hands Foundation, through its
Needy Families Campaign, worked directly with Terri Lazar, GVSD Social Worker and the local Giant in Lincoln Court, to provide numerous Great Valley families in need with over $2000.00 worth of gift cards.
"Hats off" to the fabulous students from our Great Valley community who give so much of their time throughout the year to help with some of the unfortunate situations here in the area. GVCO is equally thankful to all of the generous community members who support the many causes, who truly make our Great Valley community
GREAT!
