Dear GW-CEPL Alumni and Friends,
It seems that every day we are learning something new about the importance of taking a "whole-person" perspective in seeking to understand and improve the human performance.
We are much more than disembodied thinking machines. Our bodies, our spiritual nature and our thoughts impact our perceptions and our behavior. Much of the time our thinking is governed by unconscious, self-reinforcing loops of repeating patterns of body sensations and feelings, combined with emotions and thoughts. Consider that we make choices that are unconscious, which are based in stuck energy patterns that no longer serve us and reduce our ability to adapt and be resilient in changed circumstances.
In "whole-person" leadership development, we seek to liberate leaders from the shackles of unconscious leadership thinking and acting, which limit their effectiveness. We teach embodied leadership awareness, mindfulness, and conscious choice creation processes that enable leaders to be more agile, more responsive, and more prepared to serve their people, their organizations, and their citizens, both now and into the future. We invite you to join us in this exciting, emerging frontier of potential for yourself as a leader for the 21st century.
