Looking back: GABC's 2018 Weihnachtsgala & Auction

A wonderful time was had by all at our 2018 Weihnachtsgala & Auction at the UMass Club on Friday, December 7th. Our members, sponsors and guests enjoyed fantastic views from the 32nd floor onto a colorful Boston Common, delicious food and delightful company at this elegant and festive evening which included a champagne reception, 3-course sit-down dinner followed by a stunning dessert buffet. Our live and silent auction winners went home with SWISS vouchers, Red Sox tickets, a harbor cruise, wine & more. The evening was topped off with dancing into the holiday season. Recent events

Our Fall edition of our Fireside Chat / Kamingespräch series on November 7th brought 30 GABC members to a private residence (and its crackling fireplace) to hear German Consul General Nicole Menzenbach address the German American relationship from a diplomatic point of view. On December 13th, GABC's Young Professionals group gathered for an informal "Meet the Steering Committee" to enjoy Glühwein, but also talk ideas and expectations for the next year. Save-the-date: upcoming in 2019

German American Business Outlook (GABO) 2019 “The German American Business Outlook” is one of the most important economic indicators of German American business relations. It is compiled by the German Chamber offices in the U.S. together with KPMG and is based on a survey of 2500 German subsidiaries on their views of the U.S. as an investment location in the United States. The presentation of the results will be preceded by an economic update and followed by a panel discussion.  This event is taking place in partnership with the German American Chamber of Commerce New York and hosted by J.P. Morgan here in Boston. More Information here .
