Chabot Wrestling Successes

To kick-off the Fall semester, Chabot Wrestling partnered with the Friends of Chabot College to host a fundraiser following the annual Alumni Duel and raised over $1,300 to support team travel and uniforms.

On September 28th, Chabot wrestled at the West Hills Invitational. This was the toughest tournament of the year having all but two teams in the state. Chabot took 14th place in this tournament. Each weight class had brackets of 64 people, and the tournament lasted over 12 hours.

On October 2nd, Chabot Wrestling won a conference duel 42-9 over San Joaquin Delta College. On October 5th, Chabot placed 6th at the Modesto tournament. Jackson Morgan, 157 lbs, won the tournament. Azim Azimy, 141 lbs, placed 4th in a nail-biting match with his opponent, and Francisco Espinoza, 197 lbs, placed 3rd.
