The High School Camp-at-Home Session starts today!
High school campers received their Camp-at-Home kits in the mail this week. Virtual programs start today!

While COVID-19 has made it impossible to get together at camp in person this year, it's also opened a whole new world of opportunity and connection for us. Our camp staff and volunteers have worked hard (and had some fun) putting together a robust week of Camp-at-Home activities for our campers.

From Capture the Flag to midnight BG checks, Gales Creek Camp is coming to you. Plus, your Field Guide contains instructions and secrets to unlock the magic of GCC. And for parents, how about a little coffee talk with a doc?

We're excited to get together, starting today!

If you haven't signed up for a session this summer, check the schedule below and let's do this. Here's how it works:

  • First, click here to register for this free program.
  • Second, 2-5 days before your session, you'll get a Camp-at-Home Kit, shipped directly to you from GCC-HQ. The kit will include your 2020 camp t-shirt (a unique shirt for a unique year), a printed Camp-at-Home Field Guide (put together by your very own camp counselors and directors), and some other surprises that will make your camp week as fun-packed as possible.
  • Then, on the Friday before your session, you'll get an email from our Camp Directors with everything you need to know to join our virtual camp programs. We'll have live* and recorded virtual sessions hosted by your camp counselors and directors every day during your camp week. You'll join us starting the Sunday of your grade session, just like always.

*Live virtual sessions will be strategic and targeted so you're camper is not on a computer all day! Also, in case you're wondering, campers are not actually required to participate in any virtual sessions. You can sign up just for the Kit 😉

We know it's a tough time all around, and we know you need camp, so this program is totally free to ANYONE 18 and under with type 1 diabetes , whether you've been to camp or not.
The Online Camp Store is OPEN!

While you can't visit the actual Camp Store this year, you can still get your gear fix in 2020. We'll be adding and replenishing inventory all summer, so check back often.

Plus, we'll be announcing a new promo on Sundays at the beginning of each camp session so keep checking back for new deals. Don't worry, these savings are open to everyone, not just that week's campers 😉

All proceeds from the Camp Store go right back into the programs. It's a way to give back -- and give a gift or get a little something for yourself.

Shipping is a flat rate of $7 per order.
