Echoes of Albuquerque: A Collective Dialogue

Join the Albuquerque Public Art Program for the opening reception of

Echoes of Albuquerque: A Collective Dialogue

Thursday, August 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Gallery One at 1 Civic Plaza NW

Albuquerque, NM 87102

Echoes of Albuquerque features work from Alchemy Walls - a collective of muralists who support one another in individual artistic growth. They combine their creative talents to engage with communities through public art. Participating artists include Heather Marie Bergerson, Amaris Feland Ketcham, Chris Martinez, Roxy Tocin, and Andrew Fearnside.

Through Echoes of Albuquerque, Alchemy Walls envisions a future where community, creativity, and accessibility are the shared paradigms for public policy. The exhibition invites visitors to join in manifesting this future by adding to Symbiosis, its large-scale, open-ended cloud poem; to walk with some of the thorny questions about community, creativity, and accessibility bubbling within its Archive; and through the artwork of Accessibility to include differently abled people in their perceptual communities.

Echoes of Albuquerque will be on view through October 3. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. Learn more at www.cabq.gov/galleryone.
