Broward Health Coral Springs Names New Chief Nursing Officer 
Broward Health has named Carolyn Carter, MBA, BSHA, BSN, RN, as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Broward Health Coral Springs. In her position as CNO, Carter will be responsible for providing nursing and clinical leadership to further patient care functions and services within the hospital region as well as ensure that clinical staff needs are met.  Additionally, she will work with the system's leadership teams to enhance Broward Health Coral Springs' best practices for its hospital care services.

"Carolyn started at Broward Health and throughout her nursing career has demonstrated strong leadership skills," said Beverly Capasso, interim president and CEO of Broward Health. "Her experience and commitment to quality nursing care will be important to help lead our team in shaping the future of Broward Health Coral Springs." 
Baptist Health South Florida Selects Cota, Inc. to Advance Personalized Cancer Treatment and Research

Delray Medical Center Cardiac Rehab Program Receives Certification 
Delray Medical Center recently announced that it had achieved certification of its Cardiac Rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Delray Medical Center was recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care. Cardiovascular rehabilitation programs are designed to help people who suffer from cardiovascular disease recover faster and improve their quality of life. The program includes exercise, education, counseling and support for patients and their families.
