Gaming  Big gamble or new business model?
Learn from NOLA.com at the Mega-Conference
Legalized gaming is coming to most states and online gaming is growing exponentially.

How do newspapers get involved in this lucrative market and what are the challenges and opportunities from a revenue and content perspective?

Robert Young, vice president, digital solutions with NOLA.com, will lead a Tuesday afternoon session at the Mega-Conference about its popular BET.NOLA.COM site.

In-person sports betting came to Louisiana in the fall of 2021 and was legalized in 55 of 64 parishes across the state. This January, mobile sports betting went live across Louisiana.

The success of BET.NOLA.COM has been important for two reasons: to satiate readers in Louisiana hungry for betting content and to provide an advertising platform for sports betting companies that were entering the space.
