Let's start the month of Thanksgiving with some Giving!
The local game store is the heart of the tabletop community. You can celebrate and support yours, as well as our local food pantries, during the first annual Game Store Day on Saturday, November 1! All three stores will be participating in a big food drive, and you can win prizes! Also, we're giving you an opportunity to play games with I'm Board staff to help fill up those coffers!
FOOD DRIVE DETAILS
We have received MANY amazing donations from our game publisher friends, plus we’ve burrowed through our Indiana Jones Warehouse of goodies, and we will have piles of neat giveaways for those who donate food and/or cash to each store’s Food Drive!
- Middleton and Madison donations benefit the Way Forward Resources Food Pantry. Their donation guidelines are here: https://www.wayforwardresources.org/support-us/donate-food-clothing
- Sun Prairie donations go to the Sunshine Place Food Pantry. You can find their guidlelines at: https://sunshineplace.org/food-pantry/
- For every 10 pounds of food or $10 cash or check you donate (rounded up), you will get one ticket.
- We will have over TWO DOZEN bundles of prizes, and you can put your tickets into the drawings for just the bundles you want. You may put as many tickets toward a bundle as you wish! All bundles will be available from all locations, so your chance of winning will be among all three stores.
GAME FOR A GOOD CAUSE WITH I'M BOARD STAFF
We have set up a number of games with I'm Board staff members that you can join - for a small added donation of course! Each seat is a $10 donation and all proceeds will be divided among the food pantries. Seats for each event are very limited (links to signups below) and new players are welcome!
