Gamma Iota Sigma was featured in the inaugural edition of Captive International Career Focus, a publication dedicated to the next generation of talent within the captive insurance industry. Recap: Allies in Insurance: Virtual Diversity Fair & Connection Point with Sustaining Partners |
Gamma Iota Sigma hosted its Allies in Insurance: Diversity Fair & Connection Point on October 21st. 150+ students representing 45 colleges and universities and 54 industry representatives from 17 Sustaining Partners organizations registered to cohesively and meaningfully engage with diverse collegiate talent while informing and empowering students from underrepresented groups to join the growing insurance industry. An inspiring keynote was delivered by Dianne Greene, Global Head Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging of Verisk Analytics.
Thank you to the students, faculty representatives, GIS Trustees, and Sustaining Partners who participated and made the event a success!

For 55 years Gamma Iota Sigma has fueled the insurance industry's talent ranks by promoting and sustaining student interest in risk management, insurance, and actuarial science careers. Help us continue to empower students and expand and diversify the industry's talent pipeline.
This year's campaign will once again feature an Alumni Challenge to benefit our fast-growing core of 5,000+ members of ALL majors at 97 colleges and universities. If our $15,000 goal is reached, the campaign will also support programs and events for our alumni chapter with the greatest Giving Tuesday turnout, as well as a GIS student chapter of the winning alumni chapter's choice.
