Allies in Insurance: Industry Diversity Fair & Connection Point |
Gamma Iota Sigma hosted its inaugural Allies in Insurance Event: Industry Diversity Fair & Connection Point. 120+ students representing 53 colleges and universities and 50 industry representatives from 25 sponsoring organizations registered to cohesively and meaningfully engage with diverse collegiate talent while informing and empowering students from underrepresented groups to join the growing insurance industry.
Thank you to the event sponsors, students, faculty representatives, GIS Trustees, and Sustaining Partners who participated and made the event a success!

Milliman's scholarship program assists students from qualifying ethnic groups and races who have historically been under-represented in the fields of actuarial science, data science, computer science, programming, economics, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, and finance. Award amount: $5,000
