Spencer Educational Foundation
The Spencer Educational Foundation funds the education of tomorrow’s risk management and insurance leaders through scholarships, grants, internship opportunities, on and off campus experiential learning, and support of risk management/insurance curricula. Since Spencer was founded in 1979, we have awarded over $8 million in scholarships and $5 million in grants to universities and professional institutions affecting more than 60,000 students through our programs.
New in 2020: In light of the ongoing pandemic, Spencer has launched a comprehensive fundraising campaign to replace our Annual Gala. With the generous support of companies and individuals, Spencer’s ‘Funding Their Future’ campaign aims to raise $1 million for our 2021 programming including scholarships, grants, and other experiential learning including educational webinars and partnerships with organizations and universities like GIS.
