2021 GIS Regional Conference Recap

Gamma Iota Sigma hosted its virtual Regional Conferences Series last month with a record turnout of 300+ students representing 99 colleges and universities and 44 sponsoring organizations. Each day included a a career fair, networking, and educational sessions.
Thank you to the students, sponsors, GIS Sustaining Partners, speakers, faculty advisors, and GIS Trustees who participated to make the event a success!

Spencer Educational Foundation Scholarships
Spencer Educational Foundation Scholarships are available to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral student members working towards a career in the insurance and risk management industry. Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $5,000, with limited $7,500 and $10,000 scholarships awarded to the highest-ranked applicants. Applications are due February 1, 2021 (today!).

CPCU Society Loman Financial Aid Program
The CPCU Society Loman Internship Financial Aid Program offers up to $2,000 in financial aid to help students offset the costs of professional clothing, travel, housing and other expenses associated with pursuing an internship in the insurance industry. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
