Insurance Careers Month was an incredible month of student and industry collaboration. Gamma Iota Sigma hosted our first ever industry-wide virtual career fair, The Pipeline, which was a great success! We aren't slowing down!

Recap: The Pipeline Virtual Career Fair
|
To celebrate Insurance Careers Month, Gamma Iota Sigma hosted the first ever industry-wide virtual career fair, The Pipeline. We had an incredible turnout! With over 700 students, and 32 companies, nearly 1400 interviews were completed over the course of 5 hours. The Pipeline Virtual Career Fair was a huge success!

The IABA Actuarial Boot Camp is the premier program for transitioning black actuarial students to the actuarial industry. The boot camp will take place July 23-26, with the IABA Annual Meeting taking place July 26-28. Food and lodging are provided.

The Deductible Dash is a student organized charity 5K, and casual networking opportunity, established by the Saint Joseph's University Alpha Omega Chapter. All proceeds for the event go to the IICF. Registration cost includes refreshments, a t-shirt, and all day admission to the zoo.

Staff Spotlight: Meet the Grand Chapter
|
|
Noelle is the Chief Executive Officer of Gamma Iota Sigma. She became their first employee in January 2011, following 6 years with ACE Group, now Chubb. Noelle graduated from the Sigma Chapter at Temple University in 2005, with a dual major in Actuarial Science and Risk Management. Noelle has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Gamma Iota Sigma since 2004 when she was elected as the 2004-2005 International Student Representative. In 2005, she was the recipient of the Alan C Williams Leadership Award.
In 2013, Noelle was recognized as a Woman to Watch by Business Insurance, and was named to Insurance Business America’s Hot 100 and Elite Women in Insurance lists in 2015.

Noelle lives in Yardley, PA with her three beautiful children. She enjoys coaching baseball and cheering on her daughters in competitive cheer-leading. Noelle also plays organized volleyball.
