Recap: Leadership Symposium
This past weekend concluded this kickoff to the academic year convening an elite group of Chapter Officers, focused on leadership training, peer networking, and exclusive engagement with Sustaining Partners. Over 325 officers and over 25 Sustaining Partners participated in this dynamic event!

International Student Representatives
Congratulations to our 2020-2021 International Student Representatives! These student leaders serve as the student voice and opinion on the Grand Chapter Executive Committee. The position was created in 1992 and ensures that the student voice is always at the forefront of all Board and Grand Chapter decisions!

The 2020-2021 International Student Representatives are as follows:
  • Brooke Feldmeyer, Alpha Chapter, The Ohio State University
  • Stacy Rodriquez, Beta Zeta Chapter, University of North Texas

OLA Academy

OLA Academy is a web-based program that prepares OLA candidates for the recruiting process. In 2020, the program will run from March to September. OLA Academy participants will get training on:

  • Interviewing
  • Networking
  • Designing an effective LinkedIn profile

Actuarial Career Day
All students are invited to attend ASNY’s 32nd annual Actuarial Career Day, which will take place virtually on Sunday, September 13, 2020, from 12–5 pm, with the unique feature of having real-time private audio and visual one-on-one interviews with each company whose qualifications you match!

College freshmen through graduate students are welcome as well as professionals interested in the actuarial field as a future career. We encourage mathematics, economics, computer, finance, business and -- of course -- actuarial science students.
