OFSC Trail Usages
If you're visiting the Ganaraska Forest for snowmobiling, you must obtain an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail permit to use the dedicated trails through the forest. Purchase today.
The Ganaraska Forest is closed to all motorized use, with the expectation of snowmobiling, from December 1st through to May 1st. Visit our website for a refresher on forest rules and regs.
The snowmobile, cross-country ski and snowshoeing trails are off limits to horses during winter months. A friendly reminder that the forest is closed to horseback riders from March 1st through April 30th. For further information about this recreational use, see the FAQ brochure, developed in partnership with the Ganaraska Forest Horse Club.
