Mangal Murti Moraya!!

The festival celebrates Lord Ganesha as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the God of wisdom and intelligence. The Hindu Temple of St. Louis is excited to bring back our tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi out in the open (like we celebrate on each street corner of every town in India). Our volunteers continue to create a historic and divine experience in celebrating Shri Maha Ganapati Dasa-Dina Mahotsavam (10 days) from August 30th to September 10th. The grand finale which is Nimarjanam was well planned on a private cruise at Mississippi River on September 10th at 11.30 PM.
