HOLIDAY SELF CARE

The holiday season is filled with planning, activities, events and taking care of others. This may leave little time to take care of oneself. This holiday season practice self care. Some self care tips can include the following:

COUNSELING TEAM

The GHS Counseling Team is focusing on supporting our 12th graders with their college and financial aid applications. The team is available in the Counseling Corner, room 43, or room 44, to assist students with their applications.

Credits Towards Graduation


At the completion of each semester students should be earning 30 credits. Counselors are available to discuss classes, credits and graduation plans as they pertain to your student.


By the end of the first semester students should have at least:

  • Grade 9: 30 Credits
  • Grade 10: 90 Credits
  • Grade 11: 150 Credits
  • Grade 12: 210 Credits
COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
If you are in need of clothes or food please make an appointment with Heidi Garcia by calling (909)397-4400 Ext. 30150 or stopping by Ganesha HS, Community Center, in room 42.

RESOURCE CENTER

  • PREP FOR FINALS - Make sure to visit the Resource Center to get tutoring support from one of our college tutors. They can help you get ready for those final exams coming up on December 19th & 20th and complete any class projects or essays that you need to work on.



Tutoring Services are held in room 22

  • M - Th - 8:00am - 8:30am 3:30pm:4:30pm


  • Friday - 8:00am - 9:00am

SAT and ACT have become optional in many institutions.

We highly recommend you check out the testing requirements for the school you are applying to.

FAFSA and DREAM ACT Application will open in late December. Workshops and support to complete the application will be provided to students and parents in January
