America's ruling elite appear to be schemers who have found a way to make large sums of money by setting up constant wars -- I call it "the War Business." But that is too polite a description. In reality the world community is dealing with white collar type sociopaths and psychopaths who have managed to take over government -- particularly the US, EU and Israeli governments. Their goal appears to be domination of other nations (eg, China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba) and peoples (eg, the Palestinians) by any means necessary including economic warfare, regime change coups, and military invasions. These targets of Empire are themselves, much like the USA, lacking in adequate democracy.

The world community and developing nations are dealing with international lawlessness from Bully nations whose ruling elite have control of mainstream media in order to indoctrinate (manipulate) the citizenry. The UN Charter limits what the UN can do to stop them. That's why the EARTH CONSTITUTION may provide the solution -- a "new UN" which replaces the defective UN Charter with a democratic World Parliament and enforceable world law.

This is a nation of self-righteous cowboys, convinced every conflict is a duel and every dissenting voice, betrayal. The Middle East is not a region to understand, but a stage to dominate. In this mental theatre, Israel plays a familiar role: enforcer, moral outpost, flattering reflection of an America enamored with its own imperial image.

This reflex is not a deviation. It reveals a deeper deficiency: a country without an aristocracy of the mind. Jackson was born in a log cabin. Truman never attended university. Reagan played the presidency like a role. Bush Jr., despite Yale, embodied privilege devoid of culture. As for Trump, he is the raw child of a frenzied empire — wealth without nobility, power without restraint, vulgarity without shame.

Beneath this vacuum lies a deeper unease: a WASP elite, long dominant but rarely erudite, destabilized, for decades now, by the rise of Jewish American elites: more cultivated, more cosmopolitan, more strategic, and deeply Zionist. Supported by an influential, doctrinaire evangelical base, these elites have mastered the narrative. The white Protestant elite, rather than compete, aligned itself. Some out of conviction; many out of fear or quiet resignation.

And that surrender kills. In Gaza, it kills bodies. In America, it kills minds. There, hospitals collapse. Here, consciences do. What remains is not diplomacy or thought, but political liturgy. And those who utter the word “genocide” — students, artists, journalists — are dragged to the scaffold.    READ MORE

Where is the Arab Street?

During the ongoing wars of Israeli expansionism in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and Lebanon, the absence of large, sustainable protests in numerous Arab capitals is notable.

Western governments and media have for decades referred to Arab public opinion dismissively as “the Arab street’ in an attempt to attribute, as the West’s favorite Arab Fouad Ajami called it, atavistic impulses and boisterous rambunctiousness to Arab public behavior and thought.

On the other hand, the Israel lobby never considers Arab public opinion to be an important factor in making policy, and characterizes Arabists’ warnings as alarmist. They argue — perhaps in their firm belief in the efficacy of using force — that Arab public opinion is an irrelevant factor in formulating U.S. regional policy. They are rooted in colonial thinking that holds that the natives can be subjugated with the right amount of force. As Bernard Lewis and other Zionist analysts argued: the Arabs only understand the language of violence. 

Arab leaders don’t speak directly to their people anymore and their rhetoric is far less pan-Arab than it used to be. Leaders now address purely local — and even technical — concerns, shying away from lofty ideals. In the era of U.A.E.-Saudi dominance over Arab culture and media, the themes are about profit, (capitalist) success, glamor and social order.  

Gone are the days when liberation and dignity meant more to Arabs than material advancement. Arab media now instead celebrate Vegas-style extravagance. 

The Reasons

There are several reasons for the changes in the political (or “street”) behavior of the Arab people:

... in the past, Arab governments mobilized the masses against Israel and welcomed the opportunity for the people to let off steam in solidarity with Palestinians. Arab rhetoric on Palestine added to the political legitimacy of the regimes. Nowadays, many Arab governments are closely aligned with Israel and cooperate with it in intelligence and military affairs. 

Israel often provides help in chasing and killing Arab dissidents, and in providing protection for the ruling circles. For instance, Mossad now trains the bodyguards of several Arab rulers — not only in Morocco. READ MORE

Now, the world is experiencing a descent into imperial barbarism, and only collective resistance can build a future beyond fascism.

Eighteen months of genocidal horror in Gaza has finally swept away to the dustbin of history the myth that the West was ever committed to so-called enlightenment ideas of human dignity, the rule of law and human rights. ...

Israel’s daily bombardment accompanies the daily horrific imagery of Israeli attacks on schools, hospitals, tent cities and broken and mangled Palestinian children, images that still fail to move public opinion in the U.S. and Europe to demand an end to the slaughter. Why? Because Gaza has finally stripped away the veil of civilization that masked moral contradictions and rationalized barbarism that has always occupied the heart of European civilizational relations with the non-European world.

The lurid mendacity of the Israeli policy of starvation and bombings of non-combatant Palestinian women and children with impunity, and even a moral audacity that shuns and criminalizes those who oppose the sadistic barbarity of the Israeli state represents a new norm. The normalization of this kind of state behavior is unprecedented. Even the Nazis tried to keep the realities of its final solution secret. But in 2025, the degradation and dehumanization of Palestinians is ostentatiously celebrated as a just cause because Palestinians are “terrorists,” and “human animals,” even the children, who are said to deserve all that they are experiencing.

So, even when the U.S. moved to consolidate its power by waging wars and overthrowing governments across the planet and European nations desperately tried to maintain hold of their colonial possessions through horrific violence from Algeria and Vietnam to Kenya and beyond, the standards of Nuremberg and the Geneva Conventions provided enough constraints that the states felt compelled to hide their criminality.

When U.S. and Western imperialists had to pretend that they were the ontologically civilized, humane, reasonable and innocent, it imposed some civilizing constraints on the range of their uncivilized actions. But in this era of lawless global fascism led by the U.S. and Israel those self-imposed constraints no longer exist.

Today the Israelis can suggest that Palestinians can be starved to death and not be condemned and then can have that genocidal intent translated into actual practice in Gaza with Impunity.

What this means for global humanity today is that it is a naked, brutal, power that will determine survival in the current international jungle of nation/states and oppressed nations and peoples.  READ MORE

Evidence grows showing that the US military is setting the stage for war on China.

A leaked memo obtained by the Washington Post reveals that the US Department of Defense has made preparing for war with China into its top priority, giving it precedence over all other issues.

The Pentagon is concentrating its resources in the Asia-Pacific region as it anticipates fighting China in an attempt to exert US control over Taiwan.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a fundamentalist self-declared “crusader” who called for overthrowing the Chinese government, took a trip in March to Japan and the Philippines, where he repeatedly threatened Beijing and boasted of US “war-fighting” preparations and “real war plans”.

The oligarch-backed Heritage Foundation organized the notorious Project 2025, which crafted a detailed policy program for the Trump administration to implement.

Hegseth is a far-right theocratic extremist. He published a book in 2020 called “American Crusade”, in which he proudly declared that the US right is in a “holy war” against the international left, China, and Islam.

During the first cold war, the US hosted a military base on Taiwan, where it stored nuclear weapons.

In the second Taiwan Strait crisis in 1958, top US military officials wanted to attack the Chinese mainland with nuclear bombs, but President Dwight D. Eisenhower preferred conventional weapons.  READ MORE

Two years have passed since the war broke out in Sudan between the two sides of the military regime that the country inherited from the infamous Omar al-Bashir. While the situation in Sudan does not get even a tenth of the global media attention that the ongoing Zionist genocidal war in Gaza receives, the scale of the human catastrophe there is equally horrific.

The death toll from the military-on-military war is estimated at more than 150,000, while the number of displaced people stands at approximately 13 million, and the number of those threatened with severe famine reaches 44 million—a record number that makes the war in Sudan the greatest humanitarian crisis in today’s world.

Of course, it is easy to understand the geopolitical factors that make the war waged by Israel in Gaza and the rest of the Middle East a major international concern, not to mention the Russian invasion of Ukraine. However, the racist inclination that dominates the global “spontaneous” ideology cannot be denied. It has always made the extent of global media attention to wars inversely proportional to the degree of blackness of the skin of those involved.

A striking example of this is the five-year war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Congo-Kinshasa) between the summer of 1998 and the summer of 2003, which claimed approximately six million direct and indirect victims. Outside of sub-Saharan Africa, the world turned a blind eye to events in the Congo, while paying far greater attention to events with far lower death tolls, such as the Kosovo War (1999), the Al-Qaeda attacks on New York and Washington (2001), the subsequent US intervention in Afghanistan, and the subsequent US occupation of Iraq (2003).  READ MORE
