Improving the Access and Availability of Early Care for Latino Families
Quality early care and education programs can help erase the school readiness achievement gap for Latino kids. Our newest brief identifies gaps in the care that low-income Hispanic families need for their young kids and what’s available, particularly when it comes to center-based providers’ hours of availability. 
Hispanic Center at APPAM
Join Center investigators in at the 2017 Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) Fall Research Conference. Our panel discussion on the economic and employment characteristics of Hispanic families will provide information about the employment characteristics of low-income Hispanic families, profile state-level policy features and practices that hinder or promote uptake of government assistance programs, and review the state of data for measuring Hispanic family life.
