Where Does Your Honey Come From?
For the past few years, the Canadian honey industry has been embroiled in a rather "sticky" scandal - do YOU know where your honey comes from?!

Most big-name honey brands display the "Canada No. 1 Grade" label on their packaging - but that only refers to the grade of honey, NOT the country of origin - which can be confusing to consumers looking to purchase 100 % Canadian honey. You may be surprised to see that a large amount of "Canadian No. 1 Grade" honey is actually imported from China!

Luckily, you DO have options! Both Marr's Sweet Raw Honey and Hampton Wildflower Honey are made with 100 % local, Canadian honey!

We received some BEAUTIFUL Fennel this week!

With a sweet taste that resembles the flavour of anise and licorice, this multi-faceted vegetable is a rich source of dietary fibres, vitamins C, B9 and B6 and minerals such as potassium and manganese.

Cultivated since the Ancient Greeks & Romans, the seeds, bulb and leaves can all be used in various forms of cooking and baking - how do you use yours?
