Double Your Gift and Impact by May 11th!
Make a gift in support of scholarships today! Every child has the right to play, learn, and grow outdoors and ICG is days away from the May 11th deadline to unlock a $15,000 matching gift aiding our Scholarship Fund.

Scholarships are crucial support for our nature and play focused programs, assist in providing equitable access to nature, and are easy to request - with a disburdening application process rooted in dignity and trust. Our Scholarship Fund ensures that no one is turned away from our programs due to a family’s inability to pay, affording more children necessary opportunities to develop a relationship with the outdoors.

Gifts up to $15,000 supporting our Scholarship Fund by May 11th are doubled on behalf of a big-hearted match provided by anonymous donors.
Take a Field Trip Through the Garden
ICG field trips have been on hiatus since 2020, and our team is thrilled to announce that we are now scheduling field trips at the Garden again!

We love hosting school groups of all ages, service learning field trips, homeschool groups, scouts, after-school programs, daycares, garden clubs, landscape designers, parks and public garden professionals, graduate students, play advocates, politicians, tourism bureaus, and more.

Pre-registration is required, and we offer a variety of different field trip experiences and programs. Interested in a field trip to ICG? Visit our website to learn more.
Did You See ICG @ Streets Alive?
ICG Educator, Grace (she/her) alongside our Development team, Ritza Francois (she/her) and Marissa McKown (they/she) brought a handlebar decoration station to Streets Alive last weekend!

The brightly colored decorative streamers add an element of visibility so young riders can more safely explore. Our team also gave away seed packets that were generously donated to us by The Home Depot in Ithaca, and raffled off some Gaia Gear. It's the first time since the pandemic began that ICG has been able to attend a community event in person, we've really missed connecting with Ithaca, and look forward to more opportunities to get back out there with all of you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
Construction on the ICG Yurt Has Begun
Work has officially begun to erect a 30 foot yurt at ICG! The yurt will provide a four-season shelter from the elements, a place to hold community events, and long-awaited indoor classroom space for our educational programs.
Your safety is our top priority as the ICG undergoes this major project. While visiting us this spring, we ask that you please remain outside of the construction fencing and follow any safety guidelines posted throughout the Garden. Be sure to visit the Garden to safely check out the work in progress!
