I'm really missing our Flower Happy Hours this year, so I thought I'd share a few tips to make your own foraged fall wreaths at home. Simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to your favorite craft store and pick out a grapevine wreath in the size of your choice. You can also purchase pheasant feathers, glue and moss (if you don’t want to forage your own moss).
Step 2: Get outside! Forage some beautiful leaves, bark, moss, mushrooms (wash your hands after), dried flowers, twigs, grass or pine cones.
Step 3: Use hot glue or floral glue to start placing your foraged goodies onto your wreath. I recommend using a layered design, so start with your flat items (feathers, leaves, moss) to make your shape. For extra protection, you can weave the stems into the wreath. Also, don’t forget to hold it up every once in awhile to make sure you are keeping the shape you want and your foraged items are not falling off. Don’t be stingy with the glue!
Step 4: Let it dry and ENJOY!
