Dear Friend,

As we welcome the growing season and enjoy our first visits to farmers markets, we pause to reflect on this moment and the year that has brought us to it. Over the past year, we have been awed by the acts of friendship, kindness, and support that have held our community up through difficult times. This support and generosity have extended to GardenShare, and we are incredibly grateful for the means to continue our work.

We are reaching out to you today and asking for your help as we raise $20,000 to directly support our work promoting a local food system and ensuring food security for us all.
The pandemic has laid bare the need in our community; this past year has seen existing inequities exposed and exacerbated.

GardenShare is ready to meet this moment head-on, and to do it we need your help. We are more committed than ever to ensuring that St. Lawrence County’s food system will continue to offer each of us the opportunity to enjoy delicious local food options. That means supporting our local farms. That means making sure each of us has access to healthy food. That means a commitment to food justice.

Donations from our Friends make this vital work of GardenShare possible. Please consider making a gift to GardenShare today to help us meet this moment. We can do this, with a little help from our Friends!

In hope and in gratitude,

GardenShare Board & Staff
