FALL 2022
Fall means it's time to plant trees and shrubs

Trees and shrubs can be planted in the fall until the ground freezes. It is important to plant at the correct depth (not too deep) and monitor soil moisture in the first year after planting. A tree's root flare should be visible a the ground level - avoid over-mulching!

Fall is here. You can look beyond mums to rev up the color, impact, and wildlife value of your fall garden. Consider asters, anemones, goldenrods, garlic chives, and others for your garden.
