Surprising the Family with a Pet?
Before surprising your family with a new pet for the holidays, be sure that everyone is committed and ready to take on the responsibility of full-time pet care.
Always consider the ages of your children, whether your family really wants a pet around the house, and whether you're ready to take on the cost of a pet.
If everyone is ready and committed, visit your local animal shelter and adopt, don't shop!
