DART Requests Resident Feedback and Announces Service Changes
The DARTzoom: A New Bus Network project will examine the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus network in all 13 of the cities that collect sales taxes to fund DART services.

DART may redesign its bus network as early as 2022. Whether you ride transit or not, the DART transit network is part of your community, and local sales taxes help pay for bus service. This  10-minute survey  will help DART decide how to balance competing priorities.

In addition, a number of service changes will take place Monday, July 27. Schedule adjustments or route modifications will take place on routes 19, 52, 206, 278, 408, 415, 428, 445, 542, 549 and 883. Route 428 serves the South Garland Transit Center.
Garland Is Among Best Cities to Work from Home
Garland, as it turns out, is well-positioned for what may be a major part of the "new normal" in American life. The City was rated No. 2 in Texas and No. 11 in the nation on the list of Best U.S. Cities to Work from Home.

In mid-May, 68% of Americans worked from home, the report said. Lubbock was the only Texas city to fare better than Garland in the comparison, while Arlington also finished in the top 15.
