Early Voting and Election Day Information for District 5 Runoff
As no candidate for City Council District 5 received a majority of votes in the May 7 general election, there will be a runoff between the top two finishers on Saturday, June 18. Only residents of District 5 are eligible to vote in the runoff.

Early voting will continue through Tuesday, June 14, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. On election day, Saturday June 18, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Margaret A. Lucht and Jon Dehn are running for a two-year City Council term.

District 5 Garland residents may vote at any polling place in Dallas County during early voting and on election day. The South Garland Branch Library, 4845 Broadway Blvd., is the only early voting location in Garland. To see all vote center locations, visit DallasCountyVotes.org.
