We are continuing this month with our series on what we see and hear happening with marketing in 2021. Last month we gave you our Top 2 areas, which were Customer Service and Consistency (January 2021 Marketing Tips). The next two on our list are:
Retention: With the demise of third-party cookies phasing out of Google by 2022, we are seeing a lot of Google Ad budgets shifting from retention to retention strategies and channels like email. This will have a positive impact on the customer experience.
Personalization: More people are now working remotely and having to find new ways to stay connected. Personalized marketing will be important to replace that face-to-face value that many businesses have now lost. This may be a huge differentiator among the competition. Companies that can build relationships and stay connected “virtually” to their audience will be very important.
We will share more from our list each month and probably make adjustments along the way, as we all will have a great 2021!
