Carner Dickinson
Paralegal, Lead Paint - Lewiston
7 Years at Pine Tree

Where is your favorite place in Maine?
Popham Beach

What are some hobbies you enjoy outside of work?
Though I don't play as much as I wish, disc golf. Love getting out and playing as often as as I can. I also enjoy gardening and working around the yard. Reading, playing with my daughter and the fun games she comes up with, cooking, camping and hiking, and spending time by or in the ocean.

What is your most memorable case while working at Pine Tree?
Doing pick ups for Small Claims in Augusta one day, a client reached out and gave me a hug after the intake thanking me over and over again. It was a wonderful reminder of how impactful we can be in our clients lives.

Why did you want to work at Pine Tree? What brought you to Pine Tree and what did you do before?
I wanted to work at Pine Tree Legal because I wanted to help people in my community and state. When doing the paralegal certificate program at University of Maine they utilized Pine Tree's resources often, and in speaking with a family friend who is now a retired judge became more interesting in working at Pine Tree Legal the more I learned. Before coming to Pine Tree I was working at a book store, while trying to find work in a museum following my time at graduate school where I received a Master's in History.

What is your favorite board game?
Risk.

If you could pick one song to play every time you enter a room, what would it be?
Ocean Man by Ween
