A day full of Giving, Celebration and IMPACT!
Frisco Family Services' friends and supporters gathered together on Thursday, September 20th for an inspirational evening of mingling, lively music, food, and giving during our Community Caring Celebration! This event kicks off our Season of Community Caring during which Frisco Family Services raises funds for vital services and programs to help those in crisis in our Frisco and Frisco ISD community.

A special thank you to Magnolia Terrace for the gorgeous venue, Market Street for decor, delicious bites and beverages, and photographer, Chris Fritchie for capturing the evening in photos.
A day made even more special by YOU!
September 20th also marked an annual day of giving in North Texas, where your donations helped us exceed our goal of $50,000 and meet our 1:1 match of $2 4,000 !

Show Your Community Pride
Community Parade - November 10

Beginning at 10 a.m., parade participants will leave Toyota Stadium, traveling east on Main Street through Downtown Frisco's Rail District , before finishing at North County Road. 

Join us at this year's  Community Parade ,   where we
will be handing out candy, taking photos and showing our COMMUNITY PRIDE!

Join Frisco Family Services to help benefit our community. You can donate most needed non-perishable food items to our Food Pantry that Saturday after the parade, from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Board of Directors Spotlight - Lara Salinas
We would like to take a moment to recognize a member of our very valuable Board of Directors, Lara Salinas – Human Resources Director at Essilor of America, Inc., and Frisco Family Services Board Assistant Secretary.
 
What excites Lara most about being a part of Frisco Family Services is “being able to bless people in need in my own community. As a part of the board, I wish to contribute to this wonderful organization, whatever gifts I can, to help support more people in the community.” Lara is currently in her 2nd year serving on the board, and has already demonstrated her commitment to positively impacting her local community through her involvement in many of the programs offered by Frisco Family Services.

Aside from work and her involvement in the community, Lara enjoys spending time with her husband and 10-year-old twins. Her hobbies include reading and decluttering, and if she could find time to write a book, the title would be “ Don’t Forget to Laugh ”.

If given more hours in my day, “I would slow down and appreciate the little things. One day we will look back and realize they were the big things.” Lara favors all quotes by Maya Angelou but one that always speaks to her is “ I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

We treasure each and every Board member, and are so grateful for their time and talents dedicated to ensuring the success of our clients and building a caring community.

Grab your family and friends and head over to Buffalo Wild Wings Frisco to watch your favorite football team and support your neighbors in crisis! During the ENTIRE month of October, Buffalo Wild Wings Frisco will donate 10% back to Frisco Family Services. You must show your server your “Teammate Card” in order for Frisco Family Services to receive the donation.

Fall Festival with Trick-or-Treating at Frisco Fire Safety Town
Friday, October 26, 2018   6 p.m. - 9 p.m. 
Come see Frisco Family Services (in costume!) for a fun night of Trick-or-Treating in this little town. The event runs from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and is geared to tots - fifth graders -- but all will have fun exploring the fire truck, seeing the safety house and getting sweet treats in the village.
