Big News!
Our charter application has been approved by the New Hampshire State Board of Education

We are officially a school!

On Thursday, December 10th, after 3+ years in the making, members of the Board of Trustees of Gathering Waters Charter presented our charter application at the monthly meeting of the N.H. Board of Education. The Board of Education was very impressed by our application and educational plan, and unanimously voted to approve our charter for a Waldorf-inspired, 1-12th grade school in Keene, NH. 

We are so grateful for all of the hard work and dedication of the many individuals that have gotten us to this point. We couldn't have done it without such a supportive community around us! 

In other amazing news....

New Hampshire has accepted the Federal funding for Charter School startups!!

Timeline

January 2nd- February 1st: Open enrollment for inclusion in the lottery process.

February 2nd and onward: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis to fill open classes; a waiting list will be created for full classes.

Looking for Kindergarten or Grades 10-12? We want to hear from you!

Our current application has been approved for 1st through 9th grade in our first year, with plans to expand the high school grades offered each year. However, we are here to serve this community and we want to hear from you if you have a kindergarten age child or a 10th - 12th grader interested in being a part of

Please fill out the Student Interest Form and specify your child's age and grade level. The more interest we have in adding kindergarten or higher grades, the more possible it will be for us to ask to amend our charter.

Gathering Waters is Seeking a Lead Administrator
We are seeking a Lead Administrator to guide the school’s mission of making Waldorf-inspired education accessible to all students in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. The Lead Administrator is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day-work of the school and will share responsibility and leadership with the Faculty Chairs, integrating and balancing Waldorf pedagogical programming with administrative and operational requirements as well as the legal and fiduciary duties of the Board of Trustees.
