A Message from the SCS Faculty & Staff ...
Dear School Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you well. As we journey through week three of our Home Learning Plan aka "Virtual Schooling", I continue to see our online classes evolve, our teachers creating very engaging and innovative recorded lessons, and sharing of feedback with our students through our online modules. I realize we are partnering with all of you in a different way, so I appreciate all that you are doing to assist your children at home and maintain normalcy as much as possible. This is also a very fluid situation, which continues to change each day; please be assured we will continue to hear your feedback and adjust accordingly to better serve our students.
Thank you for participating in this week's Virtual Spirit Week; I am enjoying seeing all of our student's smiling faces. Don't forget to upload your photos to the yearbook link (below), so that your child's photo can be included in the yearbook. Remember, tomorrow is wear the color purple to symbolize the season of Lent and make a list of all of the things that you are grateful for so that you can send up those "notes of gratitude" during prayer!
Many of you have asked me, should we anticipate completing the school year remotely? At this time, our Home Learning Plan has only been extended to April 30, 2020. It is with great anticipation and hope that I look toward May 1st as the day that I get to see everyone in person. Although we do not have all of the answers, let us all keep the faith and trust in God's plan, as we continue to embark on these uncharted waters. We are currently working to check-in with every student within the school. Please share with us how you are doing; we want to help in anyway we can.

If you have not done so, I ask that you please complete the required Acceptable Use Policy Form issued by the Archdiocese. Per the Office of Catholic Schools in Archdiocese of New Orleans, this is a required form in order to begin engaging in live stream instruction. I appreciate your prompt attention to this form.
I hope you all enjoyed the Heart Video we prepared for all of you. A huge thanks to Mrs. Jan Carroll for compiling all of these videos to present to our community! From the bottom of our hearts, we love you and miss you!
In Christ,
Kimberlie Kilroy
