December 10, 2020 - Issue 18

Dear SCS School Families,

As many of you know, the CDC announced some changes to the standard quarantine time from 14 days to 10 days after a direct exposure. SCS is now ready to adopt this change to our COVID protocols on campus. The quarantine time will remain 10 days after a positive COVID test.

Please know these are general guidelines and each case will still be evaluated for the best course of action on an individual basis. As always, Nurse Christine and our team at Ochsner will help us determine what is best for our students and faculty in each situation. Please feel free to reach out with any questions at any time. As we come to the end of the second week of Advent, please join me in praying the below prayer asking God to give us the gifts of hope and patience during these trying times. As we know, God is Good - Always - and he will guide and protect us as we continue this journey of the 2020 - 2021 school year.

We are going to need plenty of parent help to keep tour groups small and socially-distanced. Students are off on Friday, January 15, so there will be no homework on Thursday evening.

Students will NOT be joining us this year at Open House, so parent involvement is more important than ever.
