From the Editor
Money, although necessary, will not solve the need for quality mentoring if mentors, especially males, do not volunteer to mentor. Mentors show up, validate, and empower.

Mentoring as a necessity for maintaining professionalism and skills for women: A participation model
The International Women’s Centre (IVC) stands for the empowerment of humans towards social self-reliance and financial independence. To achieve this, the IVC developed the IVC Participation Ladder Model (IPM), a scientifically validated model with European recognition. We use this model to help women develop themselves. The focus is on climbing the ladder, i.e. personal growth. This starts with women in isolation and advances through five more steps: Social Contacts Outside, Participation in Activities, Unpaid Work, Paid Work with Help, Paid Work. Presentation PDF with model in English. Website in some English: Mentoring – Internationaal Vrouwencentrum Den Helder (ivcdenhelder.nl)
Editorial comment: Isolating anyone, child, older teen, or an adult, makes them subject to manipulation, depression, mind control, victimization, and much more.
More highlights are forthcoming.
