Money, although necessary, will not solve the need for quality mentoring if mentors, especially males, do not volunteer to mentor. Mentors show up, validate, and empower.

Oklahoma State University has MICAH Mentors, and the University of Oklahoma program is underway. Merritt will work with any group to spread this unique model.
