On Sunday May 21, 2023, Run For The Wall Riders came to Junction City for a one night stay. Visitors and locals gave the riders a big American welcome by holding a line of flags leading to a memorial service at Heritage Park. Following the ceremony, the riders enjoyed a meal provided by the Eagles and breakfast the next morning before they departed towards their ending point in Washington, DC.

The Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau made their mark on the world at the Dallas Adventure and Travel Show with providing our expertise with visitors you came by our booth. Patrons could enjoy different cultural dances and education talks at various event stages. Their were various countries from around the world and states in the U.S. that provided information for your traveling needs when you visit there area of expertise.

We attended Sports ETA Evening Events at Sporting KC along with the rights holders and other communities. This was a perfect evening to explore the stadium which included seeing the soccer players locker room to enjoying their very own speakeasy called "The Boot Room". We also met Matt Besler, a former Sporting KC player!!!

We attended the ExhibitorLive Conference and Exhibition in Louisville, KY this year to begin our work on getting the Certified Trade Show Marketer designation. We attended multiple classes and had the opportunity to check out all of the latest and greatest in technologies and booth setups in the tradeshow marketing world.
