The Star Spangled Salute, VBH's annual fundraising gala will be an unforgettable evening filled with military pageantry & entertainment featuring keynote remarks from retired U.S. Army General, Stanley McChrystal.

The event will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. in the Hall of Honor. The program will begin at 7 p.m. and will conclude with incredible live auction travel packages and a dessert reception.

On October 9th, we welcome the Charlotte Checkers head coach Ryan Warsofsky, to our Uptown Lunch. In 2019, the Charlotte Checkers not only had a 50-win season, a team record 110 points, the American Hockey League’s top goaltender, the league’s coach of the year, but also topped off their season as Calder Cup champions.
